Before it became a Netflix sensation, You started off as a small Lifetime show set in New York City. Penn Badgley stars as Joe Goldberg, a kind and attractive bookstore manager who strikes up a relationship with Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail). However, Joe is full of dark secrets and emotions as he becomes infatuated with Guinevere.
Joe stalks Guinevere at every turn, following her wherever she goes, manipulating every move. Joe even kills people in the name of Guinevere, eliminating any friend or ex-boyfriend that crosses his path. The explosive first season ends with a shocking twist that must be seen to be believed.
The reality series about finding love is back for its third season. In Love is Blind, 15 men and 15 women experience a series of dates with the hope of finding their next relationship. However, the contestants cannot see the person. These dates take place in special pods, so they can only rely on their conversation to judge the person.
With an accepted marriage proposal, the contestants can see each other face to face. From there, they will spend time together and determine if they want to get married. It’s a great setup for a reality television show that will provide viewers with hours of entertainment.
In Physical: 100, there’s only one rule: get physical and be the last one standing. In an alternate take on the series Squid Game, this Korean reality show is a real-life survival of the fittest competition. 100 people of all ages and genders compete to see who has the ultimate physique.
The contestants face off in competitions of brute strength and endurance, with the winner taking home 300,000,000 won ($238,890 USD). Losers do not die when eliminated, like in Squid Game. Instead, they must destroy their plaster torsos with a hammer. The show will satisfy the urges of those looking for a new, physical reality series.
