Digha railway station to start operations by February-end

THANE: The much-awaited Digha railway station on the Thane-Vashi-Panvel route could become operational by month end, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Rajan Vichare said on Monday.
Vichare who visited the station premises on the fringes of Thane and Navi Mumbai, told mediapersons that the work on the station is nearly 95% complete.
The project is being executed in two phases.
