With support from the Windgate Foundation, the Mid-America Arts Alliance has launched Catalyze, an initiative that will allocate an astonishing amount of grant funding to artists in Central Arkansas. The program, which also provides mentoring and professional development to its recipients, will award $10,000 grants (with no match requirement and very few strings attached!) to 25 individuals who “create work in any artistic discipline, including but not limited to dance, film, literary, music, theater, and visual art.”
To be eligible, applicants must live in one of the following Arkansas counties: Cleburne, Conway, Faulkner, Garland, Grant, Hot Spring, Jefferson, Lonoke, Perry, Pope, Prairie, Pulaski, Saline, Van Buren, White and Yell.
