The end of Mardi Gras is quickly approaching and if you haven't been out to a bal or parade yet, there's still a little time left.

Did you miss out on the bal and parade this weekend? The Krewes of Oceanus and Centaur made it a weekend you couldn't forget.

Krewe of Oceanus Grand Bal

The Krewe of Oceanus had its Grand Bal II Friday evening, February 10, 2023 at the Bossier Civic Center.

On Friday the Krewe of Oceanus hosted their Grand Bal at the Bossier Civic Center with the theme "Music Can Change the World."

The royal court came out dressed like famous musicians or representing their favorite music genre while dancing the night away to Charlotte's Web Band.

Krewe of Centaur Parade

The Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras parade Saturday afternoon, February 11, 2023 in Shreveport.

On Saturday the Krewe of Centaur took to the Shreveport streets to throw beads, cups and trinkets in their annual Mardi Gras parade.

The Shreveport community came out in droves to see the amazing floats driving through Clyde Fant Pkwy, performances by local bands and dance groups and hoping to catch as much candy, beads and treats as possible.
