24 Myanmarese nationals shifted to jail

CCpur, January 25 2023: Altogether 24 Myanmarese immi grants who were kept at Sadbhavna Mandap Khominthang Detention Centre have been taken to Imphal Central jail on Tuesday at about 8pm without formal order of court.

Of the 24 refugees, three are minor boys and the rest are women.

The development has come after three Myanmarese immigrants were found missing from the detention centre on January 22 morning.

Another 28 Myanmarese immigrants whose cases remain pending in the court were, however, made to stay back at the same detention centre.
