Advertisement for the Position of Project Associate-I

Applications are invited from the interested and eligible candidates for the position of Project Associate-I to work in a R&D project titled “Bioprospecting Potential of Edible Mollusc of Northeast India for Functional Food Development and Validating its Traditional Medicinal Uses” sponsored by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB)-DST, Govt. of India.

The selected candidate will be appointed initially for a period of one year and the tenure can be extended till the completion of the project based on the performance review. The mode of application and other details can be found in the SAIRAM website http://sairam.ac.in/.

Qualification : M.Sc. in Life Science/ Biotechnology/Zoology/any other relevant discipline

Desirable: Candidates with ICAR-CSIR-UGC NET qualification score as well as working experience in bioactive compounds extractions, gene expression studies and characterization of bacterial communities are preferred.
