A helicopter carrying Art of Living's Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and four others made an emergency landing due to bad weather at Sathyamangalam in Erode today morning, reported ANI.

The report further said that all passengers were safe. The helicopter took off after 50 minutes once the weather cleared.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a hugely popular yoga guru and a spiritual leader. He is frequently referred to as Sri Sri, Guru ji, or Gurudev. From around the mid 1970s, he worked as an apprentice under Mahesh Yogi, the founder of Transcendental Meditation.
