BATHINDA: A day before the city hosts the state-level Republic Day event where Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will unfurl the national flag, the outer walls of five local places were found smeared with Khalistani graffiti.
Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, legal adviser of the banned outfit Sikhs for Justice, uploaded a video of the graffiti on social media, where he asked people not to attend the function and warned the CM against unfurling the tricolour.
Two days ago, a similar graffiti was smeared at a temple in Melbourne. The Bathinda police were active all of Tuesday since Pannun’s video appeared online.
