Ahmedabad man caught drunk, luxury car seized

AHMEDABAD: A luxury car worth Rs 35 lakh was seized after cops found its owner drunk near Adwait Complex in Vastrapur. The police also found 300ml of imported liquor in the vehicle.
The accused had picked up a fight with another man who called the police control room. "The accused, a 34-year-old steel manufacturer from Bodakdev, was leaning on the complainant's car for support. When the latter asked him to move away from his car, the accused began arguing and threatening him," said the Vastrapur police.
Responding to the complainant's call for help, the police arrived at the spot and administered a field sobriety test to the accused, which he failed. Cops checked his car and found a bottle of imported liquor with 300ml remaining. Vastrapur police seized the car and booked the accused under the prohibition charges.
