The NSE Nifty index traded 172.9 points down at 17945.4, while BSE Sensex was down 548.17 points at 60430.58 as of 10:30AM(IST)on January 25.
In the Nifty index, .(up 0.93 per cent), .(up 0.65 per cent), .(up 0.53 per cent), .(up 0.49 per cent) and .(up -0.04 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 4.53 per cent), State Bank of India(down 3.26 per cent), .(down 2.06 per cent), .(down 1.98 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.88 per cent) were among the top losers.
