JAC announces registration date for model school entrance test

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Academic Council has announced the registration date for Jharkhand Model School Class VI Admission Examination 2023. The model schools are English-medium ones intended to offer talented rural students with quality education. Interested students in Class VI or those who have completed Class V from any school in the district can register for entrance exam across 89 model schools in the state.
The application period is from February 3 to February 26 and can be submitted online via the council's website at www.jac.jharkhand.gov.in/jac/.
The students can fill out the application form for free. According to the notification, the candidates must be at least 10 years old and not more than 12 years old as of April 1, 2023.
The entrance exam will be held on April 9. The admit card can be downloaded beginning April 4.
Enrolment in Class VI of model schools will be based on merit list and nominations shall adhere to the state's district-level reservation policy.
As the procedure has gone online for the first time this year, the teachers oppose it and insist that it also be completed offline.
