Prayagraj: A play ‘Main Subhash’, which throws light on the incidents related to the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra
Bose was staged at the camp of Uttar Pradesh and Sanskar Bharti at the Magh Mela, on Tuesday evening.
The play was staged under the joint auspices of the department of culture, Uttar Pradesh and Sanskar Bharti. The play was presented by ‘The Third bell’ Prayagraj and the play was written and directed by theatre director Alok Nair.
“The play not only throws light on those incidents related to the life of Subhash, which are known to all, but also those which were quite interesting and have been the turning points of his life”, said the director of the play, Alok Nair. Along with showing the early childhood and college life of Subhash, the play shows several important incidents till the formation of ‘Azad Hind Fauj’ by Bose, he added. As long as Subhash lived, he lived with only the dream that how soon India would become independent.
As soon as the drama came to an end, the hall echoed with the applause of the audience as well as the slogans of Jai Hind.
The play enthralled the audience and the audience appreciated the performance of the actors of the play.
