Gujarat Common Entrance Exam 2023 to be conducted on April 3
The board had extended the registration deadline for GujCET 2023 to January 25 following requests from students as many of them could not register within the earlier deadline of January 20.
AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Monday announced that GujCET 2023 will be conducted on April 3. GujCET is the common entrance test held for admissions to degree and diploma courses in engineering and pharmacy after the completion of Class 12.
A statement from the board said that the duration of the physics and chemistry exam will be two hours (one hour for each paper) and the papers will carry a weightage of 40 marks each.
It will similarly be followed by biology and mathematics papers.
The exam will be held from 10am to 4pm.
Earlier, the board had extended the registration deadline for GujCET 2023 to January 25 following requests from students as many of them could not register within the earlier deadline of January 20. According to sources, about 1.13 lakh students have so far registered for GujCET 2023. In 2022, about 1.02 lakh students of the total 1.07 lakh registered students had taken GujCET exams. tnn
