Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.38% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:40AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Sunteck Realty(up 1.84 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.68 per cent) and DLF(up 0.27 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 2.15 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 1.06 per cent), SOBHA(down 0.76 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.26 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.13 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.38 per cent at 423.15 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 36.35 points at 18154.9, while the BSE Sensex was up 155.07 points at 61096.74.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, , , Ltd. and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of , RBM Infracon Ltd., , and Tapi Fruit Processing Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Ballarpur Inds., , , Godha Cabcon & Insul and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
