Parassala murder: Three more held

Thiruvananthapuram: Police on Monday arrested three more people in connection with the murder of Ranjith (40), a native of Inchivila, at Parassala on Sunday night under the influence of alcohol. The arrested have been identified as Reji (27), son of Raveendra Das of Parayaruvila Veedu at Inchivila, Parassala; Riju (39), son of Rajan of Kattankulangara Thottathil Veedu at Aruvankode, and Bipin (27), son of Madhavan of Madathuvila Puthanveedu at Inchivila.
They have been remanded after producing before a court.
During a marriage function at Inchivila, there was a dispute between Bipin and Ranjith and they clashed with each other. Bipin was injured on head and later he came near Ranjith’s house with the other accused to seek explanation on why he was assaulted. An argument over it led to a clash and Ranjith was hit on head using a beer bottle.
