3 held for firing in Amraiwadi

Ahmedabad: City police’s special operations group arrested three men for their alleged involvement in a case of firing in Amraiwadi. The three have several cases of offences against the body registered against them.
On Saturday, the three had opened fire in Amraiwadi and a case of attempted murder and other offences under the IPC was registered against them. The three men are Faizal Shaikh, 23, a resident of Bapunagar; Mehkumiya Malek, 19, a resident of Vatva; and Lukman Bhatti, 26, a resident of Ramol. The three were arrested and the pistol they had used was recovered. Police said the three wanted to achieve notoriety in the area and carried out the firing to scare people. tnn
