One Covid case logged in city

Ludhiana: After three days, one Covid case was reported in the city on Monday. The infected resident is a 26-year-old woman from Lohara road, who is an ante natal care (ANC) worker. With this, the number of cases reported from Ludhiana so far has increased to 1,13,637, of which 15,303 cases are from other states and districts.
Health officials also said that 40,63,442 Covid tests have been done in the district. As per heath department, 293 samples were taken on Monday, of which 245 were tested through RTPCR and 48 through rapid antigen.
Health officials have advised people to follow Covid norms in view of the threat of variants triggering surges in a few countries.tnn
