Nakoda Group(up 4.09%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 1.91%), Euro India Fresh Foods(up 1.80%), Marico(up 1.42%), Zydus Wellness(up 1.26%), Dangee Dums(up 0.84%), Umang Dairies(up 0.78%), Varun Beverages(up 0.76%), ADF Foods(up 0.67%) and Hindustan Foods(up 0.44%) were among the top gainers.
Heritage Foods(down 1.91%), Sheetal Cool Products(down 1.48%), Bajaj Consumer(down 0.86%), P & G Hygiene(down 0.66%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(down 0.44%), Jyothy Labs(down 0.42%), Nestle India(down 0.24%), Dabur India(down 0.22%), Gillette India(down 0.18%) and Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 0.08%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 42.35 points up at 18160.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 168.26 points at 61109.93 at around 11:12AM.
Tata Motors(up 2.89%), Adani Enterprises(up 1.89%), Asian Paints(up 1.49%), HCL Technologies(up 1.43%), HDFC Bank(up 1.05%), Infosys(up 0.9%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.86%), Titan Company Ltd(up 0.85%), ITC(up 0.81%) and IndusInd Bank(up 0.77%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Axis Bank(down 2.54%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.29%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.05%), JSW Steel(down 0.95%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.87%), SBI Life(down 0.68%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.65%), Coal India(down 0.56%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.55%) and Hindalco Industries(down 0.5%) were trading in the red.
