900 schools attend event on UDISE

Ludhiana: Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar organised a seminar on Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE), which was attended by over 900 schools. District education officers Harjeet Singh and Baldev Singh were present at the event.
All government primary, upper primary and private schools were trained about UDISE, which is an online system for data collection, started in 2018-19. It is mandated to collect information from all schools imparting formal education from Classes I to XII.
The survey is conducted by the Union ministry of education to collect information on schools’ infrastructure, profile, enrolments, teachers, examination results, through an online questionnaire. The form includes multiple questions and sections related to the school. tnn
