Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.63%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Monday.

Shares of Sunteck Realty(up 0.39 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.32 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.11 per cent) and DLF(up 0.07 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

On the other hand, SOBHA(down 3.22 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 2.44 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 2.12 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 2.09 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.6 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

The Nifty Realty index closed 0.63 per cent down at 424.75.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 90.9 points at 18118.55, while the BSE Sensex stood up 319.9 points at 60941.67.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 ended in the green, while 16 closed in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, , , and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of RBM Infracon Ltd., , , Banka Bioloo and Chembond Chem hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , , Vikas Proppant & Gr, Godha Cabcon & Insul and Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows.
