Future Consumer(up 3.85%), Euro India Fresh Foods(up 3.55%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.25%), Nestle India(up 1.05%), Dangee Dums(up 0.84%), Zydus Wellness(up 0.58%), Britannia Industries(up 0.58%), Dodla Dairy(up 0.51%), Tasty Bite Eatables(up 0.43%) and DFM Foods(up 0.41%) were among the top gainers.
Heritage Foods(down 5.81%), Sheetal Cool Products(down 1.95%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(down 1.41%), Umang Dairies(down 1.31%), Nakoda Group(down 1.24%), Vadilal Industries(down 0.90%), Prataap Snacks(down 0.83%), P & G Hygiene(down 0.72%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 0.68%) and Bajaj Consumer(down 0.57%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 119.75 points up at 18147.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 459.13 points at 61080.9 at around 10:40AM.
Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.21%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.86%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.66%), Tata Motors(up 1.53%), Eicher Motors(up 1.32%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.24%), State Bank of India(up 1.22%), UPL Ltd(up 1.19%), Coal India(up 1.19%) and HDFC(up 1.14%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, UltraTech Cement(down 2.51%), JSW Steel(down 1.96%), Grasim Industries(down 1.07%), NTPC(down 0.83%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.64%), Adani Enterprises(down 0.5%), SBI Life(down 0.49%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.39%), Asian Paints(down 0.21%) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.19%) were trading in the red.
