Green activists carry 10th march to save nullah
Ludhiana: City’s environmental activists on Sunday carried out their tenth march along Buddha Nullah to save the water body. They marched a 3km-long stretch from garbage dump near Daresi cremation ground till Old GT Road bridge on the day. Former banker and social activist Subhash Chander led the march on the day. The activists said they saw black water and discharge flowing into the drain at many points. Besides, industrial, dairy and plastic waste was also found polluting the nullah at the stretch. tnn
