WWE 2K23 is scheduled to release on March 17, with John Cena serving as the cover athlete and tons of new features finding their way into the game. If you're looking forward to the wrestling sim, WWE 2K23 preorders are available now. Multiple editions are up for grabs, and you can get some cool bonuses by reserving a copy early.
One of the most intriguing new features lets fans follow Cena's rise to fame. But instead of playing as the star, you’ll take control of his opponents in each match. Beyond following (and fighting) Cena, the usual assortment of game modes will be included, although a fully reworked story mode might become the big draw of this installment. The WarGames match type is also making its debut, which features 3v3 or 4v4 matches inside two side-by-side rings surrounded by a double-steel cage.
If you preorder WWE 2K23, you’ll get the Bad Bunny Bonus Pack. This unlocks the popular artist, Bad Bunny, as a playable character. You’ll also unlock his Ruby-tier MyFaction card. There don’t seem to be any retailer-specific preorders at this time, although that could change in the weeks leading up to launch.
The standard edition of WWE 2K23 comes with the base game and any eligible preorder bonuses. As usual, this is the cheapest way to get your hands on the game, although it doesn’t come with any exclusive content.
Step up to the deluxe edition, and you’ll get the Season Pass, Deluxe Edition Bonus Pack, and 3-day early access to the game. Here’s a closer look at exactly what that includes:
The most expensive edition available is the WWE 2K23 Icon Edition. This gives you access to everything listed above, along with the Ruthless Aggression Pack that includes:
