Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:04AM

Bohra Industries(up 4.51%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 3.44%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.82%), Fertilizers (up 2.78%), G S F C(up 2.58%), KRISHANA(up 2.21%), Rama Phosphates(up 1.74%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.52%), & Fertilizers(up 0.73%) and Sikko Industries(up 0.58%) were among the top gainers.

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 2.10%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.96%), Aries Agro(down 0.85%), & Fertilizers(down 0.35%), & Petrochemicals(down 0.29%), Agro Phos(down 0.12%) and ZUARIAGRO(down 0.03%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 127.45 points up at 18155.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 461.66 points at 61083.43 at around 10:04AM.

Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.13%), Hero MotoCorp(up 1.84%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.65%), UPL Ltd(up 1.55%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.48%), Tata Motors(up 1.31%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.25%), Eicher Motors(up 1.22%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.16%) and Bajaj Finance(up 1.14%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, UltraTech Cement(down 1.77%), JSW Steel(down 0.6%), NTPC(down 0.59%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.41%), Adani Enterprises(down 0.38%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.32%), Tata Steel(down 0.28%), Asian Paints(down 0.28%), Grasim Industries(down 0.26%) and SBI Life(down 0.01%) were trading in the red.
