Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president K Sudhakaran has issued a circular to all party leaders stating that no party worker or leader should directly approach him or the KPCC headquarters to resolve party issues in their regions.
Instead, all such issues should be addressed at local leadership level, the circular has stated.
The circular comes in the wake of the decision to restructure party committees at booth, mandalam and block levels.
The KPCC president has been getting complaints regarding group fights at the lower level of the party.
The KPCC president has made it clear that all the issues should be resolved at district level. They can also have discussions with KPCC general secretaries, who have been given charge of each district, to resolve issues.
A decentralized grievance redressal mechanism has been established by the KPCC president for settling party issues. The KPCC president will interfere only in such issues which have been forwarded by the district presidents of the party. The mandalam presidents should resolve issues regarding the booth committees and the block president should resolve issues in the mandalam committees.
