Three held on charge of killing man in Pune

PUNE: Three men were arrested on Saturday on the charge of fatally assaulting 29-year-old money collection agent, Rohidas Shendkar, found dead below Daripul in Jhambulwadi over three months ago.
The arrested men are Adesh Magare (23), Yogesh Sapkale (21) and Vishal Kamble (25), all from Ambegaon Pathar. The Bharati Vidyapeeth police said the motive behind his murder could not be established immediately after the arrest of the trio. "We are questioning them to establish their individual role in the crime," said senior inspector Srihari Bahirat.
"We had initially registered a case of accidental death. The murder case was lodged after Sassoon General Hospital in its post-mortem report certified that hard and blunt object was used to kill him," he said.
