India Youth convention held in Lamhi
Varanasi: On the second day of the ‘Subhas Mahotsav’, being organised by the Vishal Bharat Sansthan to mark the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, an India Youth Convention was held at Lamahi village on Friday.
During the convention youths took a pledge to follow the path shown by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Addressing the programme, the senior RSS functionary, Indresh Kumar said that the youth power is needed to make India great. Subhash had taught to have faith in his religion and culture, and he is the symbol of Indian youth power. He cautioned the youth to remain alert and careful, and said that if love is like Radha-Krishna then everyone accepts it, but if there is lust and betrayal in love hiding name and religion, then the result is unfortunate. No one is against love, but love jihad will never be accepted, he said.
Earlier, a convention of Muslim religious leaders from all over the state was organised on the inaugural day of the fest on Thursday. The Muslim clerics assembled to discuss issues like national unity and the contributions of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
