In a 1st, Thane to get 11 e-buses by end of this mth

Thane: Thane city will get its first ever fleet of electric buses by the end of this month, municipal commissioner Abhijit Bangar said. Transport department officials said 11 buses both AC and non-AC will arrive in the first phase by January end and may be deployed on the streets by next month. Around 123 buses are scheduled to arrive in the city as part of the Clean Air Programme and will be operated on city routes latest by June end, officials said. TNN
