JD(S) won’t win more than 20 seats, says Siddaramaiah

Mysuru: Former CM and leader of opposition in the assembly Siddaramaiah on Friday predicted that the JD(S) would not win more than 20 seats in the forthcoming polls. Siddaramaiah said that the regional party was not the dominant force it had once been, adding that its strength had been waning. Although former CM and senior JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy was touring the state, claiming that his party would win 120 seats, the party would not cross the 20-seat mark, said Siddaramaiah. The regional party’s presence was restricted to seven or eight of the 31 districts , said Siddaramaiah. TNN
