Pune woman forced to consume powdered human bones as part of black magic to conceive child, 7 booked

Seven persons, including the husband and in-laws of a woman, were booked in Pune for allegedly forcing the lady to consume powder made of human bones as a part of a black magic ritual. The family had the ritual performed by a ‘tantrik’ in hopes of having the woman conceive a child. “FIR registered against seven people including her husband, in-laws and a Tantrik. A case under Sections 498A, 323, 504,506 of IPC along with Section 3 of the anti-superstition act registered. The family is well-educated. We'll arrest them soon,” informed Suhail Sharma, DCP Zone-3, Pune on January 20.
