Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 80.2 points down at 18027.65, while the BSE Sensex closed 236.66 points down at 60621.77.

In the Nifty 50 index, , , HDFC Bank, HDFC and ITC were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today's trade.
