Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(number of shares traded: 4.32 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 2.80 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 2.29 crore), Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.66 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.61 crore), Vedanta (number of shares traded: 1.09 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 1.06 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.05 crore), Karda Const(number of shares traded: 0.91 crore) and Engineers India(number of shares traded: 0.86 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 1.9 points down at 18105.95, while BSE Sensex was down 9.21 points at 60849.22 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 1.67 per cent), .(up 1.06 per cent), & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.02 per cent), .(up 0.97 per cent) and .(up 0.95 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 3.01 per cent), .(down 1.62 per cent), .(down 1.40 per cent), .(down 1.37 per cent) and .(down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
