KOLKATA: The Bengal government has lodged a complaint with Chanakyapuri police station in New Delhi against a joint team of Gujarat Police and Delhi Police officers entering Banga Bhavan and taking away CCTV footage last week.
The complaint was lodged after CM Mamata Banerjee on Monday publicly accused Delhi and Gujarat cops of entering Banga Bhavan - the primary accommodation for state seniors and guests visiting Delhi - and taking away CCTV footage on Saturday.
The Bengal government will file a separate complaint with the ministry of home affairs, to which Delhi Police reports, say senior state officials.
A senior Delhi Police official told TOI over phone that his agency had "a limited role to play" in the case.
