Balrampur Chini Mills(down 1.61%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries(down 1.42%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 1.37%), BAJAJHIND(down 0.93%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(down 0.90%), & Industries(down 0.89%), K.M.Sugar Mills(down 0.84%), Uttam Sugar Mills(down 0.84%), Rana Sugars(down 0.80%) and Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 0.74%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 88.1 points down at 18077.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 289.93 points at 60755.81 at around 10:14AM.
UPL Ltd(up 1.49%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.66%), Axis Bank(up 0.63%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.6%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.15%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.14%), Cipla(up 0.12%), Coal India(up 0.09%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.07%) and Tata Steel(up 0.04%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Adani Enterprises(down 3.67%), Titan Company Ltd(down 1.87%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.84%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.46%), Tata Motors(down 1.32%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.27%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.23%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 1.17%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.06%) and Infosys(down 0.96%) were trading in the red.
