Prayagraj: Throwing a potential challenge to chemical based products, Gobar chip (mobile anti-radiation chip), asana for sitting (seat), laptop cooling pads, mobile hand pouches and many
puja items – made from cow dung have turned a crowd magnet at the camp of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) at the ongoing Magh Mela.
Called ‘Gobar Chip’ or ‘Cyber chip”, this mobile anti-radiation chip is most sought article among shoppers.
Unveiling about the chip, convenor Shrimad Vasudev Gaushala (Brahmavart) Bithoor (Kanpur), Abhishek Bajpayee said that cow dung has the capacity to counter and reduce radiation from mobile phones and it has earlier been proven scientifically. He further said thta cow dung mobile radiation chip is a unique Radiation Protection Chip prepared by the gaushala using cow dung ions and extra coating that protects you from the harmful effects of Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) emanating from your mobile phone.
Apart from ‘Gobar chip’, other products made of cow dung like Gomaya Aasan (seating), Gangatiri (handmadeorganic soap), Loban cups, laptop cooling pad made of cow dung, dung cakes, hand-purse made of gobar and cotton, toothpaste, dhoopbatti,eye drop, Gangatiri Panchgavya soap, Gomaya Deepak and Grahsudhi phenyl (made of cow urine) are selling like hot cake at the VHP camp. Moreover, other products, from soaps and toothpastes to room fresheners and incense sticks to eye drops and pain-relieving oils — a host of commodities manufactured by the Bithoor based gaushala are up for grabs in sector one of Magh Mela.
Bajpayee, meanwhile,said, “ This was the first time when products like Gobar Chip and hand-pursemade of gobar and cloth along with laptop shed pad made of cow dung are ondisplay at Magh Mela, even though they had earned rave reviews across the country.”
He, however, we have this time brought special spices made of cow urine at magh mela.
Bajpai, meanwhile, said, “ People who believe in the medicinal properties of cow urine and dung are visiting our stall. The products are already available at all VHP camps across the country. We are also in the process of registering with online shopping sites,” he said.
Apart from cow urine, dung is also used for making soaps, face packs and incensesticks, he added, reiterating that the debut stall at Magh Mela was a big hit.
