Sharjah returnee tests Covid +ve

Coimbatore: Three people, who had landed at the Coimbatore airport from various overseas destinations, have tested positive for Covid till January 17 this year. This includes a passenger who arrived here on Tuesday from Sharjah. The 38-year-old man was among those who were randomly chosen for testing at the airport upon arrival.
When the results came, he was found to be Covid positive. He had, however, travelled to his native in Namakkal district before the results came. Health officials from Coimbatore alerted their counterparts in Namakkal to keep track of the person. TNN
