Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:24AM

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 4.93%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 4.16%), Aries Agro(up 1.92%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.07%), KRISHANA(up 1.01%), & Chemicals(up 0.62%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 0.56%), & Petrochemicals(up 0.37%), National Fertilizer(up 0.34%) and Madras Fertlizers(up 0.14%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 1.93%), G S F C(down 1.16%), & Fertilizers(down 0.52%), & Fertilizers(down 0.46%), Fertilizers (down 0.31%), Coromandel International(down 0.23%) and & Fertilizers(down 0.16%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 79.55 points down at 18085.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 252.55 points at 60793.19 at around 10:24AM.

UPL Ltd(up 1.28%), Axis Bank(up 0.73%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.72%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.5%), Tata Steel(up 0.45%), Coal India(up 0.39%), Grasim Industries(up 0.29%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.27%), Bajaj Finance(up 0.24%) and Asian Paints(up 0.12%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises(down 3.51%), Titan Company Ltd(down 1.79%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.63%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.31%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.19%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.17%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 1.06%), Tata Motors(down 1.04%), Nestle India(down 0.98%) and Bajaj Finserv(down 0.97%) were trading in the red.
