Sculptor wants to give Narendra Modi a PM statue in Karnataka

KALABURAGI: A Kalaburagi artist who has made a statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to present it to him on Thursday when the PM visits here. Vishweshwarayya has built a unique statue of Modi which has multiple miniature figurines set on the rotating slab.
The artist, making sculptures for 30 years in Kalaburagi, has built hundreds of statues and he teaches too. He has built hundreds of statues, including India’s Emblem, Mahatma Gandhi and Basaveshwara.
Visheshwaraiah, who is influenced by the slogan that was used during the last two general elections elections — ‘Hara Hara Modi and Ghar Ghar Modi’— wants to meet the Prime Minister. It is easier said than don. Visheshwaraiah said that Prime Minister Modi was arriving at Kalaburagi on Thursday where he will present the statue to prime minister.
He said he has sought the permission by the district administration who are “yet to give permission to me but I am continuously following up to get the chance of presenting him.”
