Cong leader quits mid-air, joins BRS
Bhubaneswar: A Congress leader from Odisha announced his resignation from the party while flying in a chopper with Telangana chief minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday.
Kailash Mukhi, the Congress leader from Kandhamal district, joined BRS in KCR’s presence. KCR has been meeting several tribal and farm leaders from the state ahead of his party’s political debut in Odisha before the 2024 elections.
Sharing his photos and videos onboard with KCR, Mukhi said he instantly accepted the Telangana CM’s offer and joined his party. KCR took me for a helicopter ride for about an hour.
He was going to attend a social function. He asked me to accompany him in the helicopter.
