6-day Subhas Mahotsav in Lamhi village from Jan 19
Varanasi: The Vishal Bharat Sansthan is going to organise a 6-day ‘Subhas Mahotsav’ on the occasion of the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Subhas Mandir in Lamhi village from January 19 to 24.
According to Tazim Bharatvanshi of Vishal Bharat Sansthan, under the ‘Connect To The Roots’ campaign, there will be a gathering of Muslim religious leaders from all over the state on the inaugural day on Thursday. More than 200 Maulanas will take part in the programme to discuss national unity and the contribution of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. An India Youth Convention will also be held on January 20, in which about 500 youths will take part and will take a pledge to follow the path shown by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
On January 21, the Jaunpur branch of the Anaz bank will be inaugurated at Saraibiru on Sarki-Sultanpur Road in Kerakat area for the Musahar and Nut families standing at the last rung of the society. An international seminar on ‘Contribution of other countries along with the Azad Hind government in India’s independence with special reference to Japan’ will be organised on January 22. Five distinguished persons will also be honoured on the occasion.
Promotion of Indian apparel and inauguration of Sanskrit Vani Kendra will be held on January 23 along with maha-aarti of Netaji in the Subhash Temple. “Maha Deeksha Sanskar in Rampanth” will be given to the most deprived communities of the society including Musahar, Nat, Bansfor and Adivadis in Dubeypur Chhitona village in Jalalpur area of Jaunpur by Shankaracharya Vasudevanand Saraswati on the concluding day on January 24.
