The NSE Nifty index traded 103.3 points up at 18156.6, while BSE Sensex was up 386.76 points at 61042.48 as of 11:27AM(IST)on January 18.
In the Nifty index, .(up 2.51 per cent), .(up 1.89 per cent), .(up 1.71 per cent), .(up 1.69 per cent) and .(up 1.54 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 2.58 per cent), .(down 1.35 per cent), .(down 1.28 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent) and .(down 0.58 per cent) were among the top losers.
