HYDERABAD: Stating that grandparents play an impressive role that is complementary to that of parents, Justice K Lalitha of the Telangana high court has granted visitation rights to a grandmother to see her granddaughter once a week for two hours.
The grandmother has to go to the clubhouse of her son-in-law's gated community in Hyderabad. She was given two hours of time to spend with her granddaughter at 10 am every Saturday.
The child has been staying with her father after the demise of her mother. The father is facing charges of being the reason for her untimely demise.
