PANAJI: Chief minister Pramod Sawant told the Goa Legislative Assembly on Tuesday that all pending applications of Laadli Laxmi Scheme will be cleared by March 31 and that of Griha Aadhar scheme too.
“The applications of married women would be cleared by March 31 as also the cases that have been pending in the last five years over small details, will be cleared,” Sawant stated during question hour, after Congress' Aldona MLA Carlos Almeida, charged that the government does not have money to clear the pending applications, but has to splurge on events.
Around 13000 applications are pending under the Griha Aadhar scheme as the scheme is being streamlined. Those will also be cleared at the earliest, he said.
“We have not spent money on unwarranted things. Finance department has been actively working on this aspect,” Sawant said.
