Powerful armies in the worldhave been working on modernisation, new ideas: Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attended the 75thArmy day programme in Bengaluru on January 15 and addressed the dignitaries and delegates present at the event. While delivering his speech, he talked about the new technologies and ideas that all the powerful militaries around the globe are working on. He also spoke on security challenges that have emerged in the last decade. “Powerful armies in the world have been working on modernization & working on new ideas, technology & organizational structure. They have also been researching new platforms & equipment. Keeping future requirements on priority,” said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. “The changes in security challenges that we are seeing in the last 10 years, those changes did not happen even during the last 100 years, & if we see the change in 100 years, then this much change might not have happened even in a thousand years,” he added.
