‘Lord Ram a symbol of social justice and amity’

Prayagraj: “Lord Ram is a symbol of social justice and amity,” said noted seer Swami Abhishek Brahmachari said here on Sunday, adding that Santan Dharma was as old as this universe. Taking a dig at some politicians for their uncharitable remarks against Ramcharitamanas, he said that they hardly do anything for the people’s welfare but indulge in such mean comments. Lord Ram always worked for uniting the society but some people put a question mark on his life just to get some votes.
“The politician who has made adverse remarks on Ramcharitamanas, can he do so against religious books if other faiths?” he asked.
