That’s how Jennie Kim, member of Blackpink, the most popular girl group in Kpop spent her birthday. The singer-rapper turned 27 on January 16. The group is currently on their world tour ‘Born Pink’ and Jennie celebrated her birthday on stage while performing in Hong Kong.

Jennie shared a cute video of her cake-cutting ceremony on Instagram. In the video, the ‘Solo’ singer can be seen blowing the candles on a pristine-looking white, three-tier cake. She also uploaded photos of her celebrating her special day as well. In one photo, the Blackpink rapper can be seen sitting pretty in a baby pink bunny suit, surrounded by balloons. She also shared videos of other BP members, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose singing ‘Happy Birthday’ for her on the stage. She also thanked her fans for their wishes.
News of Girl’s Generation member Jessica attending the Hong Kong concert also hit the headlines. Jessica who is known to be friends with the ‘How You Like That’ singer, posted a video of Jennie’s solo performance in her Instagram stories, tagged the rapper and wrote, “My nini baby.”

The group will move on to Riyadh, after wrapping up their concert schedule in Hong Kong.

Recently the ‘Boombayah’ singer hit the headlines for an alleged relationship with BTS member Kim Taehyung a.k.a V, after pictures of them together surfaced (and went viral) on the Internet. Both HYBE as well as YG refused to give a statement on the rumours.

On the work front, Jennie is all set to make her acting debut with the television series ‘The Idol’. The film which also stars Lily-Rose Depp and The Weekend, will premiere on HBO sometime in 2023.
