The techie told TOI on Monday, “I contacted the bank and blocked the credit card after receiving four text messages and emails of the transactions done by the cyber crooks. As per the procedure, the bank calls the customer and seeks authorization before transferring the money. But in my case, the bank did not seek my consent before transferring money in the crooks account.”
