Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Monday at 10:40AM

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.21%), KRISHANA(up 0.98%), Sikko Industries(up 0.74%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.62%), & Fertilizers(up 0.61%), Coromandel International(up 0.48%), & Fertilizers(up 0.27%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.19%) and Madras Fertlizers(up 0.07%) were among the top gainers.

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 3.54%), Rama Phosphates(down 1.53%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.38%), Aries Agro(down 0.96%), National Fertilizer(down 0.83%), & Fertilizers(down 0.72%), G S F C(down 0.61%), Agro Phos(down 0.49%), & Petrochemicals(down 0.48%) and & Chemicals(down 0.44%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 18.3 points up at 17974.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 126.53 points at 60387.71 at around 10:40AM.

Tech Mahindra(up 1.86%), HCL Technologies(up 1.36%), Infosys(up 1.19%), Wipro(up 1.19%), IndusInd Bank(up 0.9%), Bajaj Finance(up 0.9%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.79%), UltraTech Cement(up 0.79%), State Bank of India(up 0.7%) and HDFC Bank(up 0.58%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises(down 2.48%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.43%), JSW Steel(down 1.27%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 1.25%), Tata Consultancy(down 1.11%), Bajaj Auto(down 1.07%), Eicher Motors(down 0.89%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.82%), NTPC(down 0.72%) and Maruti Suzuki(down 0.69%) were trading in the red.
