"Night Court," NBC's renewal of the iconic 80s sitcom, is set to release on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 8 pm ET. The official trailer for "Night Court" was dropped on NBC on January 11, giving a peek into the hilarious events set to unfold in the new series.

The series revolves around Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Harry Stone, who replaces her father at the Manhattan Municipal Court. Melissa Rauch stars as the lead actor, with others in important supporting roles. Rauch is also the executive producer, while Dan Rubin is the series' author.

According to NBC, the new "Night Court" starring Judge Harry Stone's daughter, Abby Stone (Melissa Rauch), will be a continuation of the original story, taking the reins as Judge in the courtroom.

Looking at the teaser, the show seems to be doing full justice to the original show's hilarious comedy. The original series had the late Harry Anderson playing the major part, with Gail Strickland and several other actors in important supporting roles. The show gained immense popularity among viewers.


The other supporting actors include John Larroquette, India de Beaufort, and many more. Dan Rubin, a TV writer and producer who also has "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," "Outmatched," and "Happy Endings" under his credit, is the writer for the show.
