Pushed from 3rd floor, mason suffers fractures
Ludhiana: A man pushed a mason from the third floor of an under-construction building after a spat over a cup of tea in Pasi Nagar. The mason, identified as Dhanak Mahto, a mason, 42 of Phullanwal, suffered multiple fractures.
Dugri police have lodged an FIR against the accused identified as Raju Yadav of MIG flats of Dugri.
Mahto said that he was working with a contractor at an under-construction building in Pasi Nagar. The contractor has employed Raju Yadav for serving tea to labourers twice a day.
He claimed that on January 10, he was working on the third floor of the house, when Raju brought tea. He asked Raju to bring tea on the third floor, but he refused. Later, the accused had a spat with him and later pushed him from the third floor. ASI Pyara Singh said earlier the doctors had declared Mahto unfit to record his statement. tnn
